Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data when you visit this website or buy Homebuyer Ready 2026. We are committed to handling your data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Irish data protection law.

Who we are

This site and the Homebuyer Ready guide are operated by Crazy House Prices (Ciarán Mulqueen) (“we”, “us”, “our”). For any privacy question you can contact us at hello@homebuyerready.ie.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to sell and deliver the guide and to run the website: your name and email address; your purchase and download history; payment confirmation details (your card is processed securely by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number); and standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited.

How we use it, and our legal basis

We use your data to process your order and deliver your download (legal basis: performance of a contract); to send you your receipt and essential service emails (contract); to provide support and prevent fraud or misuse (legitimate interests); and, only where you have opted in, to send you occasional updates (consent, which you can withdraw at any time).

Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers that make the store work: Stripe (payment processing), our email provider for transactional email, and our web host. These providers act as our processors under contract and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes. We do not sell your data to anyone.

Cookies

The site uses essential cookies needed for the shop and checkout to function. If we use any non-essential or analytics cookies, we will ask for your consent first. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

How long we keep it

We keep order and tax records for as long as required by Irish tax and accounting law, and other personal data only for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or port your data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email hello@homebuyerready.ie. You also have the right to complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission (www.dataprotection.ie) if you are unhappy with how we handle your data.
